Brand New Movies on Netflix

This collection of new movies on Netflix promises to be interesting. So choose the one that interests you or better still grab your popcorn and watch it all.

1. Spaceman

The Spaceman is now the Sandman. In his most recent dramatic acting endeavor, Adam Sandler plays an astronaut who might be going insane.

A massive talking space spider (voiced by Paul Dano) provides him with the necessary psychological and emotional support when he’s on the verge of going insane after six months on a solitary mission in space.

So, yes, everything is going great for him. The 2017 book Spaceman of Bohemia by Czech writer Jaroslav Kalfař served as the inspiration for Spaceman.

2. The Gentlemen Season 1

British director Guy Ritchie (Snatch) returns with an eight-episode series featuring witty, quick-witted criminals vying for power and wealth, an extension of his highly anticipated 2019 crime caper The Gentlemen.

This time, Eddie Halstead, portrayed by Theo James, inherits an estate and finds out it’s a part of Mickey Halstead’s (Matthew McConaughey) marijuana empire.

Since these are primarily new characters in the franchise, there will undoubtedly be many run-ins with scalawags hoping for a piece of the action—though probably none with McConaughey.

3. Damsel

The Stranger Things In this fantasy film, starring Millie Bobby Brown, a young lady’s dream marriage to a royal family turns into a nightmare when she finds out she’s being sacrificed to a dragon as part of the cruel kingdom tradition of killing lovely young ladies.

But rather than turning into a snack, she transforms into a fierce criminal who fights her way out of her underground jail to exact revenge on the people who sent her there.

4. Young Royals Season 3

For us Wilmon fans, it’s unfortunate that this is the third and final season of the Swedish romance series. The most dramatic confession marked the conclusion of Young Royals Season 2.

Prince Wilhelm (Edvin Ryding) acknowledged in his speech at the school Hillerska’s anniversary that he was, in fact, the one with Simon Eriksson (Omar Rudberg) in the widely circulated sex tape.

Up until that point, Wille had to fabricate the video to preserve the royal family’s good name. However, it’s obvious that the prince no longer wishes to keep his feelings for Simon a secret. The consequences of this choice will only become apparent in the upcoming season.

5. Girls5eva Season 3

Though it may have sung its last song on that streamer, Peacock’s hilarious comedy Girls5eva was picked up by Netflix, which will now air the first two seasons besides a brand-new, six-episode third season.

It was created by Meredith Scardino of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and produced by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock of 30 Rock.

Starring Sara Bareilles, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Busy Philipps, and Paula Pell, it’s all about trying to make it big even when your knees hurt and the industry only wants to turn teenagers into stars. It also has one of the greatest theme songs ever on TV.

6. 3 Body Problem Season 1

Are you an advocate of second chances? We are excited about David Benioff and D.B. Weiss’s debut television project since they killed it during the last few seasons of Game of Thrones.

This time, they’re adapting a finished, massively ambitious book: The Three-Body Problem by Cixin Liu is a science fiction book that spans several timelines and tells the story of a growing threat from a cold, dark place that splits the world into good and evil.

That does sound a little like Game of Thrones, but instead of White Walker, there are aliens. What we know about the series is as follows.

7. Manhunt

The newest miniseries on Apple TV Plus, Manhunt, centers on the hunt for John Wilkes Booth, the assassin of Abraham Lincoln, and is based in the aftermath of the event.

Tobias Menzies from The Crown portrays Edwin Stanton, the friend and secretary of war for Lincoln who oversaw the hunt.

Patton Oswalt and Brandon Flynn are also in the cast. The season will be released weekly on Fridays, with the first two episodes being available for streaming right now.

8. Chicken Nugget

In the latest K-drama Chicken Nugget, Kim’s Character is unintentionally transformed into a crispy bite of chicken when she enters a machine at her father’s business.

It is up to Baek-joong, an intern at the company with a crush on Min-ah, and Seon-man, Min-ah’s father, to try to change her fast food destiny after they learn what has happened to her. They both learn some “unexpected secrets”.

9. True Spirit

Many people predict that Jessica Watson, a determined young sailor, will fail in her quest to become the youngest person to sail solo, nonstop, and unassisted around the world.

With the help of her parents Jessica is determined to do what was once thought to be impossible: she will navigate some of the most difficult oceanic stretches in the world in 210 days.

Producers Debra Martin Chase, Susan Cartsonis, and Andrew Fraser work with director Sarah Spillane, who also wrote the screenplay for True Spirit with writers Cathy Randall, Rebecca Banner, and Sarah Spillane.

10. Irish Wish

The reigning queen of romantic comedies on Netflix is none other than Lindsay Lohan. Hallmark and Lacey Chabert had better be careful.

In time for St. Patrick’s Day, Lohan is relying on her Irish luck after starring in the endearing film “Falling for Christmas.” To be a bridesmaid at her best friend’s wedding—to the love of her life—Maddie takes a plane to Ireland.

She finds herself in an alternate reality where she is the one getting married to the groom following an impulsive wish for true love. However, Maddie quickly discovers that her true love might be someone else.
