1. Damsel

The cast of Stranger Things’ Millie Bobby Brown plays a cloistered young noblewoman who is betrothed to a prince (Nick Robinson) in this fantasy action thriller.

The prince cruelly casts her in a cavern and offers her as a sacrifice to pay off a long-standing debt. 

The fire-breathing dragon is pursuing the stranded princess, but she musters incredible cunning and willpower to battle tooth and nail to survive.

2. Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One

Elite field agent Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team battle “the Entity,” a menacing rogue AI with the potential to wipe out the entire planet, in the seventh Mission: Impossible movie. 

Dead Reckoning, an ensemble film starring Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Esai Morales, Pom Klementieff, Mariela Garriga, and Henry Czerny, is nominated for an Oscar for Best Sound and Best Visual Effects.

3. The Equalizer 3

Robert McCall (Denzel Washington) is a retired government assassin who now lives in Southern Italy and struggles with the ghosts of his violent past. 

But when Robert finds out that the local mafia is controlling his newfound friends, he has to unleash his vigilante side to save his friends and his hard-won peace.

4. The Creator

John David Washington plays Joshua in this science fiction thriller from 2023. Joshua is an ex-special forces agent who is grieving the loss of his pregnant wife (Gemma Chan). 

In a dystopian war between artificial intelligence and humans, Joshua is assigned to locate and destroy the Creator, the mysterious AI creator who has created a mysterious weapon that has the power to end the war and humanity. 

Joshua and his team find out that the device—which could end the world—is actually an artificial intelligence (A.I.) masquerading as a young girl (Madeleine Yuna Voyles).

5. Sound of Freedom

In Sound of Freedom, actor Jim Caviezel, who starred in The Passion of the Christ, plays real-life US Department of Homeland Security agent Tim Ballard. 

The film, which was directed by Alejandro Monteverde, follows Tim on his risky mission to save children from sex traffickers in Colombia while working tirelessly with Operation Underground Railroad, the anti-trafficking organization he co-founded.  

6. Rebel Moon — Part One: A Child of Fire

Zack Snyder, who has directed blockbuster movies such as 300 (2007), Man of Steel (2013), and Army of the Dead (2021), is showcasing his distinctive visual style on Netflix with a two-part epic space opera.

The first episode centers on the mysterious Kora (Sofia Boutella), who forms an alliance of fighters from different planets to oppose the Imperium, the corrupt government of the Mother World. 

7. Blue Beetle

Jaime Reyes (Xolo Maridueña), a recent law school graduate, finds the Scarab—an antiquated artifact of extraterrestrial biotechnology—and agrees to be its symbiotic host. 

Pursued by the ruthless Carapax (Raoul Max Trujillo) and Victoria Kord (Susan Sarandon), Jaime must learn how to master his new abilities as the Blue Beetle while donning a suit of armor with extraordinary yet unpredictable powers.

8. John Wick: Chapter 4

9. Fast X

The consequences of Hernan Reyes’s (Joaquim de Almeida) death in Fast Five (2011) reappear to torment Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his crew in the suspenseful tenth installment of the Fast & Furious saga. 

Hernan’s son Dante (Jason Momoa) carried a ten-year grudge after witnessing his father’s demise and the loss of his family’s wealth. 

Fast X, which is helmed by Louis Leterrier and stars Charlize Theron, Brie Larson, Rita Moreno, John Cena, Jason Statham, Helen Mirren, Michelle Rodriguez, and more, picks up speed.

10. Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves

This fantasy heist comedy, directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, is based on the tabletop role-playing game.

That is the Dungeons & Dragons and chronicles the adventures of lute-strumming bard Edgin Darvis (Chris Pine) and his barbarian best friend Holga (Michelle Rodriguez). 

Following their jailbreak, the two friends put together a strange group of misfits to go after a stolen relic from a powerful con artist named Hugh Grant. Along the way, they encounter hostile opponents.
